I began coaching youth softball in 2013. My coaching experience includes Recreational Softball, Little League and Travel Softball (8U-13U). As a coach of developing players, it is my goal each and every season to continue the growth and execution of fundamentals, mental toughness and to create a sisterhood of teammates. I want my players to have FUN and work hard, no matter the age, to discover their gifts and abilities that make them valuable to each team who is lucky enough to have them.
I grew up playing softball and my hard work, dedication and love for the game led to college recruitment. I received my undergraduate degree from Olivet College then several years later went on to obtain a Masters In Counseling in 2007. I currently reside in Clarkston with my husband, 3 children and 2 dogs. We are an active family who spends most of our days on the softball/baseball diamonds. I am excited for the opportunity to be a part of Turnin 2 and am looking forward to the 9U 2021/2022 season!
This will be my second season as head coach for travel softball. I grew up playing baseball Clare, MI before graduating from Western Michigan University. I currently live in Clarkston with my wife, two daughters, and two dogs. My goal as a 9u coach will be to focus on the basic fundamentals and player development. We will have a lot of fun while learning the game but will also work hard to follow the organizations core values. Respect, Responsibility and Represent.
